外人对中国政府扫黄的看法

What is really sad about China... is that they REALLY feel that it is important to have a boy child, to carry on their name. Well, China only allows parents to have 1 child... so, they abort most of the female babies.
Now, these boys are growing up... and there aren't enough women for them... factor in that China bans pornography...
Seems to me to be a recipe to create the worlds largest and angriest army to ever exist.
Beware of China's sexless soldiers in the next decade or so.
Yikes.
中国最悲哀的事情是父母都喜欢要男孩子，但政府只允许生一胎...所以，很多女婴都被打掉，男孩子长大了，男多女少，比例失调，造成很多单身汉...然后中国政府又要禁止色情文化
在我看来这就是世界上最凶残的中国军队将要诞生的秘方。
请在20年内对中国这些没有性爱的士兵保持警惕

Interesting point, it reminds me of a paper I wrote in college about how part of Stanley Kubrick's - Full Metal Jacket was showing that if you control a person's sexuality you control the person.
Also, I can't verify this but I've read that there has been a large increase in homosexuality in China for the same reasons...

I'm from Canada, and have been to China. You can feel the oppression in the air, the minute you step off the plane.
This disgusts me. If it were 1800, it would still disgust me. Leave the people alone to do what they will. Looking at porn, playing online games, whatever.
Oh wait, perhaps they don't like to work as hard for nothing anymore as they have something fun to do.

Oh, puh-lease. This "Internet crackdown" has nothing to do with porn. It's about suppressing dissent. It's about shutting down any meaningful discourse or criticism of the government.

they can make any claims they want and provide any numbers/facts/whatever...... is there another third party double checking their stats... i dont think so.... so if they say that filtering works.... then it works lolzzzz
